Rooting Within

In Rooting Within, Tanja is looking inward to explore the inner self. The project directs the viewer’s attention toward what is often overlooked: a world that exists just beyond the scope of ordinary sight. The work explores a state of un-rootedness and un-mooring, tracing the interior landscape of a person navigating change. Set against a white ground that strips away time and place, the images carry a clinical tenderness, using photography as a tool for mindfulness, meditation, and an exploration of the self. Here, Tanja uses nature as a canvas for expressing feelings, helping you find belonging within yourself when the world around you is in constant shifts.

Rewild: Navigating Space brings together four photographers exploring the relationship between the self and the environment. Moving between interior and exterior worlds, the works trace how space is experienced, shaped, and understood through perception, memory, and embodied experience. Photography becomes a reflective practice, revealing navigation as both physical and psychological. Across the exhibition, the works consider how we inhabit space and how space, in turn, shapes us.
